2023 Subnational Risk Index

In Colombia Risk Analysis we launched, in its third version, our Subnational Risk Index.  The index identifies potential and existing risks for companies in different departments of the country across six categories: security, politics, economy, institutionality, society, and environment. 

The index shows the departments ranked by risk level, with Quindío, Risaralda, and Atlántico  being the least risky, and  Vichada, Cauca, and Chocó being the most risky.  

Understanding these risks is crucial to developing effective mitigation strategies. Our index aims to contribute to this effort.
